I Surrender My Problems To God
It seems that the mind is always looking for a problem to solve in order to keep itself busy, which often results in creating problems where none actually exist. Again, this is all about fear and a lack of faith that we are cared for. Often we treat our finances, relationships or jobs like mathematical riddles. If I do this then this will occur; if I have this much money then I can do that; if he is really thinking of leaving me then maybe I should do that. And does all this equating and calculating actually solve our problems? Are there truly any problems anyway, or is the mind simply keeping itself active? If we give our perceived problems up to our God, we affirm our trust in the Universe to give us what we need and we leave ourselves free and available to experience and enjoy our lives more fully. If there are problems in your life that don't seem to have a solution, practice surrendering them to your God. Just give them up to the Universe. Through prayer, meditation, or creative expression, whatever! Anything to stop the figuring out! Notice how you feel. Lighter? Freer? Does it seem strange to let go of the drama? What amazing things could happen if the mind was able to focus on the positive aspects of life? Or would that be too boring?....
