To Heal It I Must Feel It

Much of our time in this world is dedicated to seeking pleasure and avoiding pain, and we have created a multitude of distractions to assist us in our avoidance. Just look around! So much anger and addiction and debt and suffering, and we wonder why? Healing our wounds in order to overcome unhealthy patterns and evolve along our journey requires a willingness to feel our pain. Nothing is solved through escaping or avoiding. This only ensures that the pain will continue. When we can open our hearts to the anguish and feel it, breathe it, stand in the middle of it with faith, only then can we be free of it.

Feel what you feel today. Allow yourself to be wherever you are at and trust that you are exactly where you are supposed to be.
