I Listen To and Receive Others

Effective listening requires the willingness to receive another fully, without adding our own story, or offering judgements and advice that may not be welcome. When we give others a safe space to express their truth , we open the door for insight and healing and in turn learn more about ourselves.
How effective are your listening skills? Practice listening to and fully receiving another today. If your mind wanders, bring it back. Try to wait until the other is complete before taking a turn to speak. What do you notice about the communication? Does the connection feel deeper?
