Control Is An Illusion
Our faith is our guide. Without faith we are, each of us, like a boat without a rudder, tossed pathetically about in a sea of confusion and chaos, all the while believing that if we can somehow get control of the wheel we will be able to maintain our course. All control is an illusion. We cannot control our lives or the lives of others any more than we can control the earth's rotation or the ocean's tides. When we develop faith and trust, we are able to relinquish our need for control and let the Universe navigate our course.Practice relinquishing control. Let go of the handlebars while riding your bike, or blindfold yourself and attempt to navigate through the rooms in your house. Do you notice a force that is there to guide you, once you let go and trust?
