I Breathe In God's Love

In order to function, our bodies require oxygen. If we are not breathing fully and deeply, not just in the upper chest but down into the diaphragm, our health and well-being may suffer. Taking a moment to breathe deeply encourages the pause and promotes calmness and relaxation. When we are concentrating on our breath, as in meditation practice, the mind is quieted and we surrender, again and again, to the present moment. Breath, or Prana, is the natural energy of the Divine. Allow yourself to be filled with it!
Set aside time today to practice breathing more deeply. As you inhale, breathe in God's love, all the way into your abdomen first, then your middle chest, then your upper chest. As you exhale, exhale your fear, from your abdomen first, then your middle chest, and lastly from your upper chest. You may wish to begin your day this way or combine the breathwork with meditation. What about visiting your sacred place?
