I Place My Relationships In Divine Hands
Along our path in life we meet others. Through knowing them we change their lives, and they, ours. This process is both joyous and painful. As with life, it is when we let go of our attempts to control and mold our relationships to suit our needs that we experience true union. In truth we want to love each other and there is help, if we become willing to relinquish our selfish desires and place our relationships in Divine hands. We cannot know what is best in any situation or see the bigger picture that is unfolding for us and those we care for.
Practice letting go of your needs and desires in relationship. Try it first with someone who is not as close to you, and notice how you feel when you allow the other and the relationship to move forward on its own. Is there freedom? Do you really think that it is up to you to make it work, and that without you it will fall apart? Could it be that the opposite is true? Consider this today.
