I Open My Heart. I Let Go Of My Head

The mind is an intelligent and powerful tool if it is utilized properly. Left to its own devices, the ego mind can inflict endless suffering and unnecessary anxiety. When one lets go of all the needless thoughts and plans and worries, space is made for peace and joy! The head is not the one in charge and it's not who we are; the heart is where the True Self resides. Opening the heart takes courage, when perhaps we were wounded before at a time when we allowed ourselves to be vulnerable. With faith we see that we are safe, and that opening our heart is the only way we can truly experience love, now, this moment.

If you are aware of the mind and its tangents today, try to let go and sink into the heart. Notice how the thoughts then cease. The more we can live from our hearts without fear, the more they will open.

Merry Christmas! Wishing you a day filled with love and peace.
