I Dare To Be Authentic
Who is it that we are trying to be? A movie star we admire, a Saint we worship, a hero we idolize? Or do we want to be more like someone we know in order to impress another, thinking that our authentic self is not good enough, not attractive enough, not stylish enough, not smart enough? Our world, especially the western culture, appears to be selling products and making money based on what we are not and what we should be. What happened to authenticity? We are not our jobs or our clothing or the cars we drive. We are Divine beings, each with a purpose and unique gifts to share. It takes courage to be who we are.
Dare to be authentic today. Forget about what you think others want to see or hear. How do you want to show up for life? Are you being real, or acting a part?
