I Confront My Fearful Stories

Realizing that our fear is only a story will inevitably lead to peace and freedom. It doesn't mean that fear will cease to arise or that the mind will stop telling its stories. Avoiding our fear will only strengthen it, as it's our resistance that causes our suffering. However, before we let our fear shut us down, we can stop and look within for guidance and grounding in the moment. When we get out of our head and feel the love in our heart, we are able to see the fearful story and work towards letting it go.

Whenever you feel fear arising, confront it. Get out of your head and become present in the moment. Ask yourself what is actually true and what is part of a story your mind is creating. If it helps, write down what is true for you, right now.
