Sharing Creativity
Recently I met a new and inspiring friend. She is a collage artist and her body of work is incredible! She uses vibrant colours and interesting materials to create multi-layered works of art. Her passion was palpable and she creates simply for the joy of it, without attachment to making money from her work or 'doing something' with it. I left her company feeling uplifted and ready to begin my own projects. I was reminded of how sharing our creative works and ideas is such a gift to others. If there is someone creative in your life whom you find inspiring, arrange to spend some time with that person. Notice what motivates them and talk to them about their work. Passion is contagious! Remember, creativity does not always look like the things we learn in art class. Think outside the box!
